In the past, I believed that the worst thing that could happen in life was stagnation. Stagnation, to me, meant no progress. I truly thought this. However, my perspective has since changed. Now, I believe that as a creative mind, it is crucial to occasionally allow complete chaos and silence to coexist. Embracing this can lead to valuable growth and understanding.
There was a time when I felt that every step backward was a failure. Standing still felt like the end of progress, and that terrified me. However, I have come to realise that sometimes, embracing chaos and silence is necessary. It’s okay to have periods where things don’t go as well. In fact, it’s more than okay—it’s essential.
Looking back, I am grateful for those deep valleys of uncertainty. They have taught me that these periods of chaos and silence are part of the creative journey. They don’t mean that you are done or that you should stop trying. Instead, they provide a valuable pause, a time to reflect and regain strength.
I now know that these moments might come again, but they are not the end. They are just another part of the journey, a reminder to embrace the chaos and continue moving forward.
